2011: Building Security Alarm Paging System (BSAP)
Becas has designed and developed a sophisticated PC-based embedded system for Building Security Alarm System (BSAP) application. BSAP system includes rugged Embedded PC, POCSAG Paging Transmitter, Phone Dialer (Modem), SMS Text Message (Modem), Digital I/O module (Interface with Alarm Input and Output). BSAP can be integrated easily into any Building Management System (BMS) of Shopping Centre, High Rise Residential Building, Office Building, School Campus, Hotels, Casinos, etc. The Digital I/O module can interface to Panic Push Button, Motion Sensor, Door Sensor, Smoke Sensor, Glass Break Sensor, etc.
When alarm sensor activates, BSAP will take following actions:
- Send alarm messages to on-site security staffs pagers from anywhere in the building.
- Send SMS text message to off-site personnel mobile phone
- Send alarm audio messages to public announcement system (PA) including Horns, Siren, Speakers
- Dial pre-programmed list of phone numbers such as property management staffs, police department, fire fighter office.
BSAP can interface with CCTV camera system, in case of alarm event triggers, BSAP can send captured camera message to mobile devices such as Iphone, Ipad or Android Mobile Devices.

In order to cover the operating radio signal range in the wide areas and multiple concrete levels of the whole building, BSAP has deployed the Ethernet to RS-232 Converter. We could add each converter at each level of the building, the converter connected to the building LAN network. Here is the Ethernet to RS-232 Converter to connect to any Paging Transmitter from anywhere in the building:
BSAP can also interface to the exisiting Public Announcement Systemto send multicast alarm audio message to the group of network amplifiers and paging speakers in the whole buidling or part of the building through TCP/IP. BSAP also have function to play background music in the building's paging speakers.

BSAP system also includes the built in web host server software that allow staff can monitor and manage all the incidents happen in the building, view log files, send paging messages to a group of security staffs, play background music, etc.
2010: ORBIT Poker Gaming Paging Management System
Becas has developed a sophisticated PC-based embedded system for wide range of industries: Poker Paging System, Club Paging System, Hospitality Paging System, Building Access Paging System, Alarm Paging System, Alarm SMS Paging System, etc
The Poker Paging System can display in realtime any services requested from poker machines in a grid of buttons which represent pokers floor plan layout in different colors. After a predefined time, if a request not been processed the color of button will be changed associated with the escalation level for attention. The display can give Gaming Manager visualised snapshot of whole operation in one screen. There is also optional Handheld device (PDA) desgined for Gaming Manager, in case of a bottleneck happen at one particular pager, Gaming Manager can have a quick view of whole operation in PDA screen anywhere anytime.
The Orbit system also display in real time information such as: average response time, queue of requests built up at one particular pager(or staff), events log
The system also been integrated with a complete web page server that support multiple users from anywhere. The web page server provides user interface for system configuration such as add/change staffs, zones and pagers. These change can be applied instanly to the ORBIT system.
Apart from that the web page server also allow sending instant messages to any pagers
Orbit system provides interfaces to customer's exist alarm system, paging to pagers throught TCP/IP network (multiple venues), sending SMS messages to authorised persons, etc.
2009 and Continued On: POS System for Hospitality and Retail Industries
Becas have launched complete POS system for Hospitality (Restaurant/Cafe/Clubs) and supermarket. Becas POS solution integrates many external devices such as Mobile (Handheld) POS terminal, Kitchen Display System. Every POS system has built in Web Server allows customers monitor their business remotely.

2002: Embedded Software for Protein Analysis Machine
2001: Datalogger for Train Borne Noise Monitoring System
Becas has developed a PC-based real time datalogger to record noise level from under the bogie of the train when the train moving. The datalogger interfaces with the train computer control system to mapping the noise level data versus the location of the train. The datalogger run on embedded Linux and record real time data on the built in database server. The stored data been parsed and populated into MS SQL database server.
An GUI (Graphical User Interface) program provided to display realtime data in graphics.
2000: Embedded Controller for Embroidery machine
Becas has provided real time display solution for Embroidery machine. The real time display solution is to display graphically the current stitching process of the needles on material.
1999: Embedded Controller for Bottle Capping and Filling machine
Becas has developed PC-based embedded controller to replace the phased out PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to control the Bottle Capping and Filling machine.
1998: Variable Speed Limit Control (VSLS) System in M4 Motorway
Becas has developed a PC-based VSLS controller to display the speed limit varied according to weather change, traffic conditions, etc. The VSLS controller was a first PC-based embedded controller deployed for the RTA's motoway. The system provided communication interface to the Traffic Management Centre through dedicated line.
